Hello, I am Shannon Godfrey - the sole photographer and graphic designer of Shannon Godfrey Photography. My husband Matt, a High School Teacher of Computer Science, is also the IT and Internet whiz of Shannon Godfrey Photography. Operating a family business I am assisted on location mostly by my mother, Patricia, providing me with a 'second set of eyes' and a helping hand.

Matt and I married each other in 2004 at St Matthew's in the City. Since then we have become the lucky parents of our two gorgeous children - Oliver and Isobel.

I have had a passion for Photography ever since Santa delivered my first camera - taking my first photos of clouds and feet. Studying Photography through high school and then completing a Certificate in Professional Photography from the New York Institute of Photography. Assisting some of Auckland's top Wedding Photographers, gaining experience, developing my own style and then finally starting my own Photography business in 2005.

I feel so lucky that I get the opportunity to capture the happiest moments of people's lives
